OVERVIEW
Founded in 1823, West Chester Township is located in Butler County, Ohio, about 18 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. It is easily accessible from I-75 and SR 129, and is just minutes away from I-71, I-275 and the Ronald Reagan Highway. Dayton, Ohio is also located about 30 minutes to the north, making both of southwest Ohio's main cities easily accessible by car. West Chester is adjacent to the communities of Mason, Liberty Township, Fairfield, Springdale, and Sharonville.
Prestige is something that is not unfamiliar to the township. West Chester was included on Money Magazine's list of best places to live in America five times: 2005, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016.
Not only is West Chester Township a great place to live, it's also a great place to work. The top ten employers in the township are Lakota Local School District, BAE Systems, GE Aviation, Cornerstone Brands (owned by Home Shopping Network), AdvancePierre Foods, CEVA Logistics, West Chester Hospital, Totes, FKI Logistex, and Procter and Gamble.
